(Again it's kind of out of time, so everyone can attend - nothings happening yet this is just a group conversation so that we can all get on the same page and I can gauge what kind of support there is gonna be)

Mord materializes via hologram while traveling to Cruesa.

Cyrus is stood in the meeting room that is designed more like a hall in ancient greek style with pillars, a large circular marble table sits in the middle. He is much changed physically since the last time anyone saw him, from his new height he stands at 6'5" his body much larger and muscular than before, his once short hair is also starting to grow out, and his pupils are black.

"Ah Shriven, you made it."

"I'm glad you decided to come."

“Yeah, I figured it is just a quick jump over while Reunion gets outfit with one of those new drives.”

Billy walks in, sternly, eyeing the room and noting the changes. Around him a swarm of drones shift this way in that, Billy seemingly looking through all of them. His hair has likewise grow, though his musculature has not. “Cyrus, Gentlemen. We have assembled the troops I see. I’m close to doing a similar thing for Acastus. It seems the war drums are beating strong as ever, brothers.”

Caynes hologram pops on. Looking much like his normal self, Titan armor and all, he has a kite shield attached to his back, a field of yellow with a howling black wolf on the bottom left, with a black crescent moon on the top right

“Boys” is all he says

Grupp walks in with Dax, "Hey guys! I'm Grupp!" He waves at Billy and Mord enthusiastically.

Cyrus raises an eyebrow at the hyper piggen for a second and then smiles warmly "Welcome Friend. Take a seat all, Cayne - I heard you had a rough time on Agaspur. My condolences, it's never easy to lose people."

“Aye. I’m planning on drinking to their honour” You see a bottle pop into view, as Cayne takes a seat pouring himself a drink. “Let’s get on with it. I’ve got an appointment with intoxication very soon.”

"Sorry Brothers, still waiting on Seung - Can't have us start without him or he'll go all Fatherly on us. I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed - you know the drill."

"I'll outline why we are here though."

“Grupp, don’t shake his hand.”

Cyrus presses a few buttons on the table and a hologram pops up in the middle of the room, or on the screens of those not present. "Cruesa."

“Flying city? I hate the sound of that.”

"It's the last Remnant strong point of note, and it's a spike three jump from Terezinho. Kincaid wants it taken."

“What’s the pay?”

"Flying cities, plural - as well as two military class stations a civilian station and a defending fleet."

Cyrus weighs it up. "Yet to be discussed, plenty of ships to be taken. Potentially Military seconded goods too." (edited)

"If that's why you want to do it. Everyone's got their goals."

"It's also the base for the Chainveil, or at least those that are still wearing Remnant colours, Malak had a few deserters that were out for revenge when I tracked him down."

"I imagine the planetary Garrison is substantial too, but that's why we have Mord here - He's currently on his way to Cruesa to set down roots and spy for us, maybe even start an uprising."

"Well if he uncovers any hidden targets we could take out beforehand, Dax and I make a pretty good strike team, ha!"

"That's what I was thinking. I can tell you I'll be of little use stuck in a spaceship."

"This is going to be a full scale planetary invasion if we can pull it off, they'll be plenty of targets and missions for you to go on."

"They wont surrender, and they specifically are the last of the Remnant's fanatical forces. So we'll destroy them, once we take Cruesa from the Remnant the UNW can force their surrender."

Seung walks in taking a seat. “Sorry I’m late hope I didn’t miss much.”

Billy seems distracted by something and cannot concentrate because of it. “I’m sorry, but can we stop for a second. I didn’t want to say anything, but how the fuck did you get so big, Cyrus? I don’t know of a cybernetic enhancement or magic or growth hormone that does... that.”

Cyrus looks around the room a little sheepishly. "I don't know whether or not you'd believe me if I told you, it's sort of magic but it was given to me by a patron."

“What does that mean. Like a broken god or some nonesense like the Still lady?

"So I have, visions from time to time. I meditate helps me focus, every now and then I find something in them, the last time it was Nemesis my Sabrecat. She's not a normal being, she's ethereal part of me I think. This time I met someone, specifically Ares - The God of War."

“Fucking Ares?! You’re serious.. fuck me I didn’t really believe those cultists. Has anyone else met a god in this room?”

“Or is it my dumb luck to have my godly meeting be with that still bitch.”

"From what I gather, these Gods are meta-dimensional beings that have been around for a long, long time. We call them Gods some call them other things, perhaps they appear to those who seek them out, or gain their attention I don't know. All I know is we spoke I thought he was going to kill me - instead he tells me I'm his new champion, and that I'm to wage the last war in his name and in the name of peace. Because he wants people to rest, which I get."

“A god of war wanting peace. I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.” After a second, Cayne decides laughing is better, the drink having some obvious effect

* Billy pauses a moment and raises a glass to Cyrus.* “I’ll support that. Sorry to side track the meeting. Thank you for sharing... wonder what other beings are out there.”

“Maybe there’s one that will help me build a functional fucking planet. I feel like I need one sometimes.” Billy trails off to himself. “The method of attack. Tell me what you have planned.”

"Indeed, now. We are all here. We all know why I look different, lets get down to this. We can all be merry after, drink to the lost and such."

“How many men do you want on this strike team? A few of us, but how many wolves do you need me to acquire?”

"Hmm, well that depends, we can only smuggle so many in without detection. Mord, Shriven - You're the stealth tech experts when it comes to ships and people. How many can we potentially get in using stealth ships and teleporters?"

“There are currently 3 stealth shuttles I know of one EI and 2 ad Astra. Each can carry 7 soldiers. Reunion also has teleport pads and can carry another 40 without endangering operations.”

"Can Reunion remain undetected?"

“It can. If we plan on only using it for transport it can carry 100. Though that force would have to come from somewhere other than ad Astra I just have some mercenaries.”

“By the end of the month my transport ship should be done. It can hold 15000 people I think.”

“As for the strike team, I’ll fill up those spots. We’ll maximize damage and aim for the highest priorities”

Billy looks up from his compad. "I think I have a suggestion, family. I was just taking a look at the available ship slots for your various factions and doing a quick bit of math.... I believe we can muster a sizeable fighter force if we are expecting a fleet battle. Fighters are not normally my style, since they can be vulnerable to larger guns like sunshine fields, but.... with the new imago dei hulls... I think we can get a sizable stopping force in the initial moments of combat to secure victory. That said, it would be quite a bit of money quite rapidly, and RCOE certainly does not have the funds to pull it off right now, but you, my illustrious brothers seem rich AF as the kids say."

Billy swipes his compad screen to a larger projector, showing plans for an incredibly offensive fighter.

"How many and how much money would you need?"

"We can make 2 per month per slot. I count 16 by the end of the month."

Billy crunches some numbers. "The total comes out to 39,040,000 credits." He looks over the top of his glasses.

Shriven leans in sensing an opportunity. “I will pay for them all if I can keep 2 for the bays in Reunion after the battle.”

"Shriven. I didn't count your bays."

"You don't have any open anyway with the rebuilding of your fleet."

“Ad Astras shipslots are all currently trying to rebuild the lost fleet.”

(I meant the fighter bays inside Reunion.)

"I'll take that deal, but we are a council here - does anyone not want to take that deal?"

"I don't see that as being a problem. Most of them will survive, hopefully. They have emergency drill capabilities."

Riger 4CE will be complete as well. I’ll have to man it with a fighting force. Perhaps one of you could assist me in training some folks to be up to snuff. That way we can board if need be. It has... more than capable weaponry for a ship of its size though.” Billy grins a bit too widely at that.

It also has 9 spots for fighters if you have some with no spike drive. I could also pull my trade ship to carry 4 ships as well. They're both armored and have weapons."

"It will indeed, we'll get you and your men in along with a small strike team of Dax, Grupp and their people too. You'll handle the military stations while we take care of the fleet. Basically disrupt operations long enough so that we can board and sweep. I don't expect you to take over an entire station yourselves. But if you can I wont complain."

"I'd expect it." Dax says with a cheeky grin. "We liberated a whole planet of zombies, you know."

“We’ll see what we can do. Once Mord has the intel we need, I’ll better be able to equip my men.”

Cyrus looks up from the projections a second. "Okay, I think we all know this is happening now, marshal your troops, if anyone needs anything in the run up feel free to ask. Once we have some intel from Mordecai we can plan more effectively until then this is just a call to arms. Thank you all for coming and agreeing to take part. If we succeed we will have broken the Remnant. They'll have no choice other than to surrender or die to either us or the Fleshshapers."

“Cheers boys” Cayne takes a swig and closes down his hologram

Billy hefts the HMG. “Time to work some magic, boys.” Before he leaves, he pauses mid stride, looking toward his feet. Hewalks over to Seung and Shriven sitting nearby looking both of them in the eye, between his actual eyes and various drones. “I just want to say. Thank you both... for giving a scared, bright eyed kid a chance. You have forever changed the course of my family’s well-being and maybe the galaxy. My mom n pop aren’t working in the factory anymore and we can finally afford to send them to the doctor when they get hurt. You have changed history for the better. I hope you know and take credit for that.” He then starts to look awkward and the drone swarm seems to twitch about a little more than usual. “Thanks. I better get going. Just wanted to say that.” Billy says, flashing a contemplative smile and bounds out of the room taking long strides, the hum of minute gravitics thrumming behind him.

Cyrus stands in the large briefing room in the Capital Station, Nemesis his huge sabre cat is sat next to him as he strokes the top of her head waiting for people to arrive.

Robert enters, dressed in his normal fatigues, packing his pipe away as he walks to his seat. He nods at Cyrus, then eyes Nemesis. "Nice cat. Does it bite?"

"Aye, sometimes." Cyrus looks at Nemesis without saying anything she pad forward her eyes glow with a white golden light. She moves close to Robert seemingly about to pounce and then headbutts his hand.

Robert brushes his hand softly against her head. "You're a beautiful creature, aren't you? You remind me of a cat I had back on Earth. Vicious little thing." He smiles.

Svenka enters the room, doing her best to not look completely awkward and out of place. She is dressed in a very clean set of coveralls, which look brand new and has a toolkit slung across her body.

“I was told there was a meeting...”

Cyrus looks over and smiles "Welcome Friend, come and sit down. We are still waiting for people to filter in, I don't think I've had the pleasure?"

Svenka looks at the seats, clearly pushing down a sense of nervousness. Her demeanour changes somewhat

“Svenka Vilnovha of the Taros Resource Collective” she pauses “sir”

Cyrus chuckles "You don't have to call me Sir. I have Warriors to do that." He jests "Cyrus will do fine."

Svenka looks slightly put off, but takes a seat at the table “I don’t really know what we are doing here, to be honest, but I will try to learn.”

She nods at Robert and proceeds to work on something on her datapad

Cayne strolls in, Alayna on his right, and his two bodyguards 5 feet behind him. A flask in one hand, a pistol spinning in the other, Cayne smiles when he makes eye contact with Cyrus

“I heard we were planning on fucking shit up?

"Welcome, Svenka. We try to get a spread of the population to provide input on matters like these. We welcome your input."

"We are putting the things in motion that we discussed earlier Brother." He directs at Cayne "I'll tell everyone what that is when they arrive, saves me doing it every time someone comes in. Please pull up a chair."

Grupp walks in, "Robert! Making new friends again eh? Ha!" He turns to Svenka, "Hey there, I'm Grupp!" He holds out one of his four hands to shake.

Svenka stands up from her chair and shakes his hand, perhaps a bit stiffly. “Thank you, Grupp, it is nice to meet you.”

"Everyone is a potential friend Grupp, unless they're shooting at you, then it's fifty fifty." Robert grins.

"I've made plenty of friends from enemies, many of my Warriors are ex-Remnant. It's all a matter of perspective!"

Hailey joins the party, the infallible Peter Sparker by her side. Her jacket is a simple black, in reverence of Desmond. She looks worn and tired from the events of the last month, but her spirits remain unharmed. "Sup Robert, hey Grupp. Who's the bear?" She gestures at Cyrus, who towers over her by at least two feet, and laughs. She extends a hand to him. "How's it going Cyrus?"

Cyrus smiles and takes her hand shaking it. "A pleasure as always Hailey. I like to think I'm more of a Lion!" He laughs. Before going a little quiet and sombre. "Are you sure you're up to this? I heard Acastus was hellish."

She matches the tone. "We'll see where I end up. Figured I should at least come. I survived, thank god, but I took some bad hits. Feel like I've had my insides ripped out and stuffed back in, but it's gonna take more than some puny god to stop me."

Cyrus smiles. "Either way I'm glad you made it. And that you're here."

"Thanks! Pleasure, as always." She takes a seat and kicks her feet up on the table near Grupp and Robert, Peter settling down below her chair.

"Oh, a new friend! Svenka, right?" She puts on an overly fancy accent. "You're reputation precedes you."

Robert nods respectfully at Peter.

Arimoto enters the briefing room wearing his full armor, the polished blue plates exhuding an energy that is contrasted by the tired expression on his face. He scans the room and takes a glance at his compad as he mutters something to himself before putting it away. "Warmaster." He nods to Cyrus quickly, before walking over to Hailey and bowing lightly. "Miss Clements, I presume? I don't believe we've met, but I'm to understand you were on Acastus with Desmond?"

Svenka looks puzzled “pleased to meet you as well, Hailey. I” she looks around the room “feel out of place.” she turns to see the blue armoured individual and rapidly quiets

“Oh, Arimoto! Yeah I was. Too bad about him, but at least he died happy. Glad to finally meet you.”

As the number of well dressed and armoured individuals begins to rise, Robert quietly brushes some dirt off his worn fatigues.

She turns to Svenka and nudges her. “I still feel out of place at these too. Trick is, just tell yourself you’re not and force the confidence. Feel free to sit near me if it helps”

Arimoto nods slowly. "To triumph over that damnable creature is truly something to be proud of. As someone who was there please tell me, did he die with honor?"

“He did. Charged into the storm alongside the ghost of his wife with no fear whatsoever. Basically blew that thing back to the hell it came from”

Arimoto's expression brightens somewhat, though not enough to completely erase the signs of stress. "Then he brings honor to us all in his sacrifice."

Tania Sobol walks in dressed for a meeting of bureaucrats wearing a neatly pressed suit jacket; her muscular form and warrior's bearing make it a slightly awkward outfit. Her hand holds an excessively large thermos wafting the aroma of freshly roasted coffee hinting at her true feelings for such meetings. Her steps stutter to a stop as she reaches the door and glances around. "Is this the meeting room for the Cruesa briefing?" she asks quietly, trying not to interrupt other conversations. Her eyes gleam slightly when they pause on the majestic hunting cat. (edited)

Hailey nods to Arimoto. “Agreed” She turns to the newcomer. “Sure is! Come on in”

Arimoto takes a seat near the front, pulling his compad back out and pecking at it while the meeting approaches.

Svenka eyes the thermos of coffee with something bordering on lust and mutters something under her breath

Hailey notices that something is missing and disappears for a minute, then returns with a box of donuts and nice pot of coffee. “Des was starting a nice tradition with this. Let’s keep the memory alive”

(Alright lets get some actual direction here) A plan was previously laid out for breaking cruesa, and in doing so likely breaking the Remnant

“I.. didn’t know how many other Taros I would see here, welcome.”

One of the planners will lay out the phases and we can discuss finer points and who would like to do what

Mission teams will be capped at about 4 depending on phase and scope

Tania takes an extra mug from the table and finds a seat next to Svenka, pulling a small notebook and pen from her pocket as she does. "Well met sister," she says to Svenka, "Tania Sobol of Vapormills. Coffee?" she gestures with her thermos and offers Svenka the mug.

"Ah, engineers. Do we get our own table now?"

Svenka gladly accepts a cup of coffee from Tania “Svenka Vilnova, representing the newly formed Taros Resource Collective.” she then turns to face Billy and eyes him up and down “I know my way around a toolkit, yes.” (edited)

"Ever thought about plying your trade off world?"

Svenka noticeably tries to hide an excited spark within her at hearing the question and buries it down with a slight indifference “I have been in the closing stages of our current job and would certainly be willing to consider an off world task”

Tania stands and offers the two a handshake, "A pleasure to meet you gentlemen, Tania Sobol, Ambassador for Vapormills now serving with the C.I.S. I have long wanted our cities to expand their trade offworld but we've spent so many years trying not to kill each other, friendly cooperation has proven ...difficult."

"Good...Robert. You've got this. Give her a tour after, would you. Take her to meet our new friends, maybe she'd like to see some of our off planet operations. Pleasure to meet you Svenka, but I must tend to my notes for the meeting." Billy shakes your hand before he walks off. A swarm of drones and a large snake legged robot follow him to his seat as he poors over his compad.

Svenka looks perturbed and nods in agreement “Petty tribalism has no place”

"-Oh. Ambassador. We need more like you around. Everything always seems to turn into a fight around here."

“Roberts on top of things.” She waves at Tania. “Hey, Hailey Clements. Engineers’ VP of weapons and armory and stuff like that.” She pauses and smiles. “It’s an official title.”

"Svenka, you'd be an asset to the RCOE, as both a representative of the Taros and an engineer in your own right. If you'd like to learn what we are all about, contact me after the meeting. I've got some wonderful things to show you."

Svenka gives a short but polite nod towards Robert

Billy stands to go accompany Cyrus and speak with him in the background of the shot, making last minute preparations and briefings on the progress of the starships.

Tania smiles at Hailey, "Sounds like an excellent title, and laudable profession. Armor and weapons might hurt you, but they won't stab you in the back." She gives Hailey a wink.

Hailey laughs. “Well, this was this jet pack that tried to kill me, but other than that...hahah. A diplomat though, huh? I could use some ‘solving problems with our words’ right about now”

Tania nods, "words are a great form of stress relief"

Seung walks into the room Agata following nearby. "Looks like a packed room. Good to see everyone is still out there doing what needs to be done while I do paperwork most of my day and contemplate spacing my self for fun." (edited)

Cornelius enters with 4 Taros wearing Sons of Corn jackets that match his, bandages cover most of their visible skin. He grins and mutters something about cannibals, and Taros parties as they take their seats.

Dax appears suddenly, standing near Cayne. "Planning the next party?"

Cayne turns to look at the appearing-out-of-nowhere Dax, unsurprised. Grumbling, alcohol heavy on his breath "As soon as Mr. Godman himself decides we have enough participants" (edited)

Calidorius strides into the the room, up to cyrus, taking his arm in the manliest of manly embraces. "You're the warmaster I take it. Its an honour to serve." before turning to the rest of the room. "Here's to a good fight" he says with a look such glee that most would find disconcerting given the subject that has caused it. Turning back to cyrus "So what's the plan here? Storm in, bash some heads, leave? I bet you've made it more complicated than that" (edited)

Cyrus appreciates the manly gesture and returns the grasp of forearms. "Thank you all for coming, I understand many of you are in the dark as to why I've asked you here. I shall tell you. Under UNW mandate we are taking Cruesa. The planet is the most strategic and most needed to the Remnant, the hope is that once we go there, destroy their fleet, defeat there defences and take it they will capitulate."

Cyrus presses a button on the table in front of him and a hologram display shows up above the table of the planet. "The planet is home to hundreds of millions of inhabitants - they live in floating cities, the planet itself in mined for gas that feeds the Remnant war machine. It's a vital stop off before they go further north. It's defended by two military stations in orbit, there is a third civilian station with little to no armament. There's also a substantial fleet guarding the space around the planet. (I'll get to the plan in a bit got to go for a meal)

"The initial plan is this: Phase One: A combined allied fleet will spike into the system led by Billy Rigers on the flagship Vox Finalis. Their aim is to destroy the Remnant fleet. At the same time several smaller strike teams will make landing on the military and civilian stations that orbit the planet, their objective is to silence the guns. We plan to take Cruesa, that means we need these platforms intact if we can help it. These teams will be led Cayne Neverwinter and his Wolves, Dax Withers, Myself and consist of a few others chosen at later date. We will also be helped by Mordecai - he's been on Cruesa for about a month now gathering support and imbedding himself, when the time of the attack comes he will compel the people to rise up against their overlords - help us take over so that we may instil peace. Phase Two: With the fleet destroyed and the stations silenced the second phase of this plan is orbital pacification. We will land troops, brought in once the enemy ships are destroyed, onto the stations in orbit and wipe out enemy resistance. These stations and the airspace is home to the last of the Chainveil. Fanatical special forces of the Remnant, they will not surrender, nor will we be taking prisoners. President Kincaid has mandated to me that Cruesa be taken no matter the cost, in order to ensure a swift victory we must hit them hard and make the prospect of further conflict seem hopeless. This means that until the Orbital Stations and the space around Cruesa are under our control their will be no quarter given to enemy personnel. No accepting of surrenders. We must assume that it will be a trap and destroy them. The main objective of phase two is controlling the orbit of Cruesa once the stations are fully under our control we will move to blockade the world, with it's stations under our control it will be at our mercy. At this point we will give the remaining Remnant Units on Cruesa an ultimatum - Total surrender of the planet to UNW control, or we will carry on the invasion to a full planetary wide invasion with the same protocols as before that being no Remnant Soldiers to be given the option to surrender again. Hopefully once the Chainveil are gone, the common soldier will no longer wish to fight - by all accounts they don't at the moment, however we need to make the point that those who perpetrate crimes against the people of the universe will not be forgiven. And it makes the two fold point to the Remnant high command that their fanatics are gone.

Phase Three: Overseeing the planets surrender or alternatively it's pacification. If the planet does not yield to our demands we will have no choice but to proceed with orbital bombardment of military targets and besiege the planet - landing troops and population centers and bringing it under our control.

- For the purposes of today's planning we will be focusing on Phase One: The Space battle and initial taking of the Military and Civilian Stations. Nullifying the threat against our ships.

I doubt that a handful of people, even Hero's of the UNW could take an entire station by themselves and hold it until relief arrives, hence the extra warriors. Additionally we have also contacted the Red Sangha mercenary company to see whether or not we can contract them to help us in the large scale mission of taking the planet, they may be of some aid in this phase, perhaps setting them to take the Civilian Station would be an idea, they are good soldiers and have strong tactics on peacekeeping as we've seen."

"Do we know how large their planetside army is? Logistically we can only transport less than two hundred thousand soldiers in a single trip, and if that's dwarfed by their ground forces we could be battling on the surface for control for weeks, if they chose to fight it out."

(Do we have any clear figures on numbers? @Nekosmash ) "In response to you Tania, it'd take the Remnant days to out flank us to get to any of our settlements without going through us. Secondly the startegic nature of Cruesa means that they'd most likely send anything heavy there instead of coming for us. And lastly, the Fleshshapers - the majority of their fleets are away up north fighting, including their capital ship. It'd have to come back through Cruesa to get to us. Arimoto, as far as numbers go, I'm waiting on the data, intelligence suggests they wont fight it out on the planet. If they do we'd have the advantage of training, orbit and supplies, we have enough troops from the TPC's forces and augmented by the Red Sangha to take the orbital stations and launch attacks on the surface if we have to. We shouldn't need the great UNW armed forces for this, that's why Kincaid wanted me to lead it. So the army could be used to greater effect somewhere else. With the amount of ships we'd have in orbit they couldn't hope to withstand a bombardment even with breakers on the surface. Their people don't want to fight, without the Chainveil they will have nothing holding them to the Remnant. If needs be we can send strike teams down to eliminate Leadership on the planet. We'll have a clearer picture of this after the initial attack and will plan accordingly then. After we've taken the space and orbit around Cruesa we will have another meeting for those that wish to participate in any further actions. I don't expect anyone to pledge themselves for the entire ordeal if they don't want to."

"This is no longer about negotiation, we have tried as we could to talk and treat with the Remnant but they will not hear us. As far as the violence of the approach, violent though it may be this is war, and more than that - this is the only way to almost guarantee the quick nature of the combat. It's tactical and will lead to less death later down the line. Lastly, there will be little to no civilian death in the initial phase, if this turns into a protracted conflict then there will be collateral damage, which cannot be avoided no matter what we do. We will try our best to negate it but to say there will be none would be a lie if this turns into a full battle for the planet."

Mission outline is as follows; planning team feel free to correct me. (Breaking character for a moment here) Fleet will jump into system space and the warships will engage the Remnant system defense fleet. The troop ships will need to get close to the platforms (do they need to dock? How are the soldiers being deployed) either 2 rounds of no actions but full sailing or possibly 3 depending on how close they have to get. Once docked teams on each stations ultimate objective will be taking the bridge, though it’s going to be a bloody compartment fight and the location of the bridge might not be easily known. I'd expect heavy resistance, and for those of you not deploying a whole army in your wake, smarts and stealth more than balls and blasters is going to carry the day. (edited)

Lastly I think we've got 3-4 stealth shuttles to take the Civi station team in to the civilian station along with more Red Sangha.

The UNW fleet's capital ships remain largely intact, though 50% of their smaller craft have been destroyed. Crews found precious few survivors from any of those vessels. Roberts voice chimes in over the general comm. "We only lost one fighter during the fleet action, once they're repaired and rearmed I can begin a patrol with all three wings operating in rotation. Even with the loss of our small ships, between the Vox Finalis and the three wings of strike craft we should be able to fend off any further Remnant fleets and hold Cruesa. While the strike craft themselves are not rated for amphibious operation, I am happy to use them in any way that will assist the invasion of the cities and remain at the disposal of UNW leadership in this matter."

"Really we could do a number of plans but if we wanted to just start staging at least we could send a few people in either with Grupps abilities or mechsuits to set up arrays to let us teleport in. Once we get staging grounds set up at least on the edges of the cities we could take out the closest anti-air to let us drop in more people with quicker means. They'll hold off the enemy forces through hit and run raids while they move in to complete their objective."

Phase 2 Plan: City 1 will be attacked by the Myrmidons and a Strike team led by Cyrus with Mord and Billy. City 2 will be attacked by Red Sangha and a Strike team led by Cayne with Hailey (And the wolves?) City 3 will be attacked by a Strike team led by Cal with Corn, Svenka and Tania. They will be assisted on the ground by Partisans. The Strike teams objectives are to eliminate the heads of the garrisons in their respective cities. Robert will be providing air support with his fighters, a squadron per city.

On an all points bulletin, the acting captain (as billy is deploying on the ground) urges a rapid pace, the Remnant counter attack fleet is expected to be here in hours

On the ground, mass combat breaks out in the larger first and second cities. The Myrdmidons are holding, keeping a much larger force at bay for now, using the city streets as funnels. Red Sangha is brutally showing no quarter, overrunning barracks, smashing fortifications, and executing all military personnel in their reach, causing tens of thousands of casualties in the first hour of fighting alone.

(anyone not wishing to be part of the space battle or do anything else here may return to Gudrun, just can't have people hopping back and forth)

An all points transmission, appearing on both friendly and foe vessels begins transmission. An elder man in a richly decorated Remnant uniform sits behind a desk, the star dragon flag of their polity hanging proudly behind him. His haggard face does not match the regality of his surroundings. “Call off your wolves UNW. We will have terms. Surrender. With terms”

He coughs heavily and even on the transmission you can see his white mustache hair is blood flecked

Billy Comms in. “This is a first.”

“All of our guns are prepared to dismantle the rest of your ships, should you make another move. Cyrus, I’m going to need a boarding team if the surrender is acceptable.”

Cyrus from the planet appears, stood in his armour a bustle behind him as Myrmidons move about around his makeshift command building "I would hear these terms, but first who are you to treat with us?" (edited)

“President General of the Remnant of the Tenebrian Empire. That’s going to have to do” he says with incredulity

"No, it's not."

"Your name. This doesn't work if you don't start playing by some semblance of the rules. Plenty here would see you destroyed. If you truly wish to parlay, then you must relinquish your pride first of all."

He provides it.

(I’ll just laundry list it) Any soldier is not to be harmed if they lay down their weapons and surrender peacefully. They will be given medical attention and cared for. Efforts will be made to reunite displaced families due to the fighting. Remnant nobility permitted to keep their personal estates and property in exchange for the intact relinquishing of state property. They wish to relocate to shariar where they will establish a free system, but not be permitted to have spike drives and will swear before any Yama King they will no longer meddle in galactic affairs

Damn that thing is big, but they're using peoples minds to amplify a tk user to mine the planet before for materials. Pulling things out of the gas and probably using pressure to solidify and change them. 350m people down there that are brain dead unable to do anything. Just bodies no minds that all die when the system goes down. Keep that in mind Cyrus likely they're all people taken from other planets that didn't make their needs as slave warriors. Probally plenty of women children and others with difficulties to life they snatched from plants all over the nearby systems."

Their guilt to be determined by a court at a later date. Until then they all will be remanded to Shariar under UNW guard to await trial. New UNW sanctioned Governments will be created to stabilize the planets surrendered. Any remaining Chainveil and Remnant Commando units are to be arrested and tried for war crimes. Whatever rank. Efforts will be made to reunite willing families displaced due to fighting, pending UNW investigations on a case by case basis.

Lastly, Those responsible for the project on Cruesa are to be remanded to my personal custody, effective immediately - with proof of their guilt.

“This offer is unacceptable and UNW justice will involve nothing but a firing squad. I cannot in good conscience allow this”

"Good conscience? When has that ever been apart of Remnant policy?"

Cyrus sighs heavily "The nobles of the Remnant may live on Shariar in exile, under supervision of the UNW, reduced to galactic tech level of three. No spike drives."

They will be allowed to keep their relics as long as they are deemed to be of a non destructive nature (No Titan armours and weapons of mass destruction) New UNW sanctioned Governments will be created to stabilize the planets surrendered. Any remaining Chainveil and Remnant Commando units are to be arrested and tried for war crimes. Whatever rank.

Billy nods on holoscreen.

"All aggressive action by both parties' forces will be ceased in the mean time."

Cyrus opens comms to the entire Cruesan battlespace. "All coalition forces, this is Warmaster Cyrus Adonis. Stand firm on current positions. The Remnant high command has accepted terms for their surrender. This war, and these battles. Are over. We will mourn the lost, and celebrate our living. To all those that have served here I thank you. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and we have won." (edited)
